Brother's Keeper (Book Appendix Excerpt)

I have learned, through this Christian journey, that God requires certain things from certain people.  What may work for you may not work for me.  What you are allowed to do, I may not be able to do.
But one thing for sure, we are responsible and will be held accountable for everything we do and say; and how it impacts or affects our brothers and sisters’ lives (saved or unsaved).

Are we our brother’s keeper?  Are we barring one another burdens?  Are we watching one another’s back?  Often times, not.
We have been put together, as a chosen generation, to edify, encourage and love one another.  We should be able to correct, not judge, those things that are not right in the lives of our brothers and sisters.  When you correct someone, you are pointing out instead of pointing at.

For the Bible clearly states that “All have sinned and have come short of the Glory of God”, so don’t laugh at your brother or sister when they stumble or fall.  Give them a helping hand, especially when God has given you the authority to speak to that person about what is going on in his or her life.

It is your responsibility.
Ezekiel 3:20 Again when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness and commit iniquity and I lay a stumbling block before him; he shall die:  because thou (or you) hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin and his righteousness (all the good things) which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine (your) hand.

Am I my brother’s keeper?
YES I AM!!!!
