Never Too Late

You are never to old nor is it never to late for God to take your dreams and make them a reality.

I was watching Food Court Wars the other night. There were two teams (older and younger couple) battling it out for their very own Food Court. The older husband/wife team (66/64) lost by $29. 2 months later, the host of the show went to their house to give them the Food Court business because the other team was unable to open due to personal reason and they were impressed with the couple's story.

They didn't give up! It was their time and their turn!

This blessed me because God was showing me that it is NEVER to late for God to work a miracle in my life.
I believe that this is my season for unusual blessings/favor! HALLELUJAH!
Living in the overflow!
Blessed to be a Blessing in Jesus name!

What about you? Don't give up!
It's never to late when God is in control. If God is for you, who can be against you?
Get in position. A Posture of Praise!
HALLELUJAH! Be Blessed

Turning Point

Today turned out to be a GREAT day!

Last night I had changed my mind about going to church. I didn't have a good day on yesterday. Not good at all. I was angry and tired of the foolishness! Just saying.
I stayed up past 2:00am and woke up around 8:00am. That's when the decision was made to go to church. I am so glad I went because I was able to release all the junk I was carrying on the inside.

Chains were BROKEN!

JESUS! JESUS! JESUS!
Something happens when I call Him! I am who God has called me to be. I need to get back in position.

Additionally, I have to release some people/relationships. Releasing people don't mean you stop caring for them. For me, it is accepting the fact that everyone can't go where God is taking me. Everyone can't be in my inner circle of influence. AND you can't change or even expect people to be what they refuse to be. That includes being your friend. Their season is up. It is what it is! SHIFT!

You see, I was allowing the negative and hateful actions/words spoken over and to me to take root by replaying it over and over again in my mind. My current situation/circumstances didn't help. I was focusing on the natural instead of the supernatural.

No more! Devil, enough is enough! I walk by faith and not by sight! No turning back! I'm still here and standing! I ain't going no where!
I believe and will obey God!

Hindrance - What does it really mean?

When you think about the word "Hindrance", what comes to your mind?

Hindrance is defined as the act of hindering or state of being hindered; or one that hinders.  The word “hinder” is defined as to get in the way of: hamper; to impede or delay the progress of; or to interfere with the process of.  In other words, when something or someone is hindering you, they are trying to impede, delay, interfere, obstruct, block or get in the way of your progress.

So with that in mind, when you take a look over your life, what is hindering you from going forward and being all that God has called and created you to be?  Many people will say that it is their circumstances or where or how they were raised.  There are some things that has happened in our lives that were out of control. I am not talking about that.  I am talking about those things that are in your control.

It's time to clean house. No more throwing things under the rug or stuffing everything in a closet. One thing about stuffing things in a closet, is that one day it will all be exposed. Come crashing down! Don't let the wrong person open that closet door. BAM! That's all she wrote. Although I used a closet, as an example, this is what happens with unresolved issues.

So if you are like me, Sick and tired of being sick and tired, it's time to do something.  It time to not only clean house but let go of the past hurts/disappointments/headache and even heartaches. What is in the past should stay in the past. Let It Go!

So what are your thoughts? Let's talk about it. Post your comments. You can do it! :)

Food For Thought

If all you needed to do was to let go of some stuff, out of your life, in order to move forward, what would that be?

Unforgiveness maybe?
Separate the sin from the person/situation. If you are a child of God, this battle is spiritual. Although you are in it, the battle is not yours, it belongs to the LORD. But there is Great News!

It's a fixed fight!

YOU WIN!
Because the greater one lives on the inside. He lives on the inside of me. God's got us!

We got the VICTORY!! HALLELUJAH!! Praise God!
Now Let it, whaterver IT IS, GO! Let God have His way.
I AM!
Forward! March!

God's Timing

There are two words for time. They are Chronos and Kairos. We live in Chronos time which is chronological time - Arranged in or according to the order of time; or in the order in which events occur or occurred.  But God's timing is Kairos.

According to Christian Theology, in the New Testament, Kairos time is "the appointed time in the purpose of God", the time when God acts.

Wow! My God! Let me say that a little different. It is the appointed (chosen or prearranged) time in the purpose (resolution or commitment) of God", the time when God acts or carries something out.

We have to get to a place, in God, and come to the understanding, based on His Word, that God's ways/thoughts are not like ours but they are higher. They are greater!

Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Men and women of God, NO MORE quick fixes or microwave blessings! Wait for and on God's perfect time for your life. He is worth the wait.

Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Forgiveness (Book Excerpt - Appendix)

Forgiveness can be defined as a way of ceasing to feel resentment, anger, bitterness, animosity, malice or hatred against an offender known as a law breaker, a wrong doer, a criminal, a low life or even a violator.  It is hard to forgive someone who has crossed the line.

Ø  Someone who has taken something very valuable and personal away from you without your permission or mutual consent.

Ø  Someone who has abused you physically and/or mentally.

Ø  Someone who has talked about you and scandalized your name.

Why should you forgive them when you were the one who was victimized?

You must forgive them, because the Bible says in Colossians 3:12-13 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and be loved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:  even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Although you have been victimized, you are not a victim.  You are an overcomer, and the elect of God.

As a living witness, I know that it takes time for old wounds to heal.  There are still some areas in my life where I am going through the healing process.

In order to experience the peace of God, which passeth all understanding through forgiveness, we must be able to pardon our offenders.  We must get to a place where we are excusing an offense, a crime, a transgression, a fault, or even a sin without demanding a penalty.

In other words, although I have forgiven my offenders, I have not forgotten what has happened.  But instead of seeking revenge – wanting them to feel the same hurt I have been feeling for years or even wanting someone to say, “I’m sorry” for the wrong they have done – I just turned it over to Jesus.

James 1:20  For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

My test became my testimony.  Don’t let your past hurt, pain, fears and/or disappointments rob you of a brighter future.  Forgive, let go and move on

Our Time Is Near

I live in a place where the weather is very unpredictable. It could be sunny one minute and without warning, it starts raining, thundering, lighting and even dime/quarter/baseball size hail began to fall. You may find yourself in or near a tornado.

People of God, there is a natural and a spiritual shift going on. As it relates to the spiritual shift, if you don't know JESUS Christ as your personal savior, you will miss it.  If you are living a life that is against the Will and/or Word of God, you will miss it, Especially if you are a Christian who know better.

TRUE REPENTANCE is available and won't cost you nothing but it can save your soul.
If you are not sure of your salvation and/or relationship with JESUS, please let me or someone know.

SPIRITUAL SHIFT!
Enough is enough!

RECOMPENSE:
(verb) Make amends to (someone) for loss or harm suffered; compensate.
(noun) Compensation or reward given for loss or harm suffered or effort made: Substantial damages were paid in recompense.

Romans 12:19 "Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
Vs 21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Deuteronomy 32:35 "Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them."

Now that the foundation has been laid, with the Word of God, it is time for us to walk into our season of Recompense/Restoration. This is for those who have been tried in the fire; talked about and misunderstood AND stood and took a stand even if they had to stand and/or walk alone!

WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD! Move out of the way PLACEHOLDERS! It is our time and turn to take our rightful place!
An Open Heaven!
WALK INTO YOUR SEASON!

Do Diligence

Yesterday was an interesting and eye opening experience for me. Actually, I had many of them from 2007 up until now. I have come to learn and understand, through personal experience, that life/trials and tribulations or even storms will make or break you. It will also show you who you’re real family and friends are through deeds/actions and not just through lip service.

Please note: What a person goes through is not ALWAYS linked to some type/form of sin. It is a TEST. In some cases, their test may just be your test. I often wondered how many tests we failed from another person's life experience. Just Saying.

Are we our brother's keeper?
Not really.

My hat goes off to those who are willing to do anything they can for not only their family, but for anyone in need WITHOUT any strings attached AND Without looking for the applaud of men for what they consider "good deeds" only to score "brownie points".

I learned that lesson, through Temple of Glory, in Savannah, GA and my friend, Ernestyne, who took GOOD CARE of my son and I while we were in GA. My title/position in my former church had nothing to do with what they did for us. They were doers of the Word and not just hearers only.

The "back door" to many of our churches are open. Not just for the unsaved/unchurched but for those who are saved and diligently trying to work for the Lord. It goes unnoticed, because as a body of "believers", we are too busy to notice. Unfortunately, too busy to care, or in some cases really don't want to "care" especially when people are being wounded/hurt by "church folks". Although this wound is deep, it can be healed.

Don't let no one stop you from fulfilling your God given purpose.
Let Go and Let God!

As a reminder, your title/position in the world and especially in the church does not exempt you from experiencing trials/tribulations; financial struggles/difficulties; heartache/pain; sickness/disease OR EVEN being used by the devil. Don't be fooled. He doesn't care about your title/position; financial status or even education. If he can use you, to destroy someone else, he will. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

It's about RELATIONSHIP and not RELIGION.
Are you your BROTHER'S KEEER?
You can be!

It's time to get our house in order which begins through REPENTANCE.
JESUS is coming sooner than later. Know where you stand now before it is too late.

Supporting Scripture: Matthew 25:35-46

HOLINESS (Book Appendix Excerpt)

1 Peter 1:14-16

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

“Be ye holy” This is not a suggestion but a statement or a command.  There is nothing outrageous, difficult or unattainable about living a holy life unto God.  We make it so hard because we want to be not only in the world but also of the world, and still be able to reap the benefits of God.

That’s why you have so many Christian men and women living together before marriage, (shaking up).  More babies are born out of wedlock then ever before, because no one wants to talk about fornication or how to say no until you say “I do” as husband and wife.  You have men liking men and women liking women right here within the body of Christ, because no one wants to talk about homosexuality until it hits home.  Men and women are getting married to the wrong person because they did everything they wanted to do outside the Will of God and now they want their mess to be blessed by saying it is better to marry than to burn.  God is not only a holy God, but he is a God of order.

In today’s society, you have men gripping about women being too holy and vice versa.  Is there such a thing as being too holy?  Are we basing our definition on holiness according to the world’s standards, which includes our fleshly desires or according to the Word of God.

Holiness is defined as a state or character of being Holy.  Holy is defined as set apart to the service of deity.  Deity is God or somebody or something that is treated like a god.  Basically, holiness is the state, character, disposition, nature or make-up of being set apart to the service of God.

Vs 15 of our text –the Amplified Version states,”But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.

Holy implies sacredness, being consecrated to God or being worthy of God.  You must be free from impurity.  There can be no hint of moral pollution or spiritual defilement.  To be holy is to be free from anything that would offend a perfect God.  Those things we use to do when we were in the world, we can’t do any more.

To live a holy life is a choice.  It is not something that you can put on or take off whenever it is convenient.  It is a lifestyle or way of life.  As we yield ourselves to God, and as we soberly, seriously and vigilantly resist  the devil and all his temptations, we will find that God is able to “perfect, establish, strengthen and settle” us.  As a living witness, it is not easy, but it is worth it.

We have to get out of our comfort zones.  If you are going to live holy, then stop making excuses and just live holy.  We must stand up for what is morally and spiritually right at any cost even if we have to stand-alone.  We must proclaim the Gospel not only with our mouths but also by example.

Concluding with 1 Peter 2:11-12
(New Living Translation)

Dear brothers and sisters, you are foreigners and aliens here. So I warn you to keep away from evil desires because they fight against your very souls. Be careful how you live among your unbelieving neighbors. Even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will believe and give honor to God when he comes to judge the world.[]

Will you live holy?

EXPECT MORE (Book Appendix Excerpt)

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

To expect something means to look forward to the coming or occurrence of.  Another way to look at this is to anticipate.  When a woman is pregnant, she expects to give birth to a baby, whether it is a boy or girl after nine (9) months of pregnancy.  She knows that during the nine (9) months, she must do the right things by this unborn child prior to his or her birth.

God is the same way.  Before we were even conceived in our mother’s womb, God had a purpose and a plan for our lives.  God knows what he expects out of us and what the end result will be before the beginning.

The question is do we know what to expect from God or even what God expects from us?  Based on the life we are living, do we know what the end will be?  Many of us don’t know or don’t want to know, because it may require that we give up some things.  We may have to stay away from certain people or places in order to receive our expected end from God.

It is time for us to come up from out of our comfort zone.
It is time for us to do more for God.
It is time for us to take the limitations off of God and expect more.

Flip The Script

Like so many of you, I have had my share of ups and downs. If you were to ask me, personally, I would tell you that I probably had more downs than ups. Just saying and keeping it real.

Let me paint a quick scenario for you as to why I would say such a thing. You know being that I am a Christian and all.

Let’s see, as it relates to my current situation. Outside of being unemployed, my car is broke and now I can't even ride the bus, because I just got out of the hospital, I can say that I am 0 and 3 for right now.

Man, if it is not one thing, then it is truly another one. But I can truly say, with my boxing gloves on, that in spite of it all, I am still here!
I’m not going anywhere. There is still work for me to do! Slightly dramatic. Right? lol

My 1st posting of this was on twitter. I was having problems with my tweets, because my IPod kept blinking off.

At first I thought it was the devil, but I just realized that it was God. He was throwing me a curve ball and not the devil. I said it was God, because what I was about to say was the opposite of what I have been speaking or professing over my life. God flipped the script, yet again.

What I thought was going to be a Q&A (Question and Answer) moment, on Twitter, would have placed a hindrance or stumbling block on my path.

A trick, implemented by the devil, as an attempt to “DERAIL” or WRECK my FUTURE. Why? Since Death and Life are in the power of the tongue, according to the Word of God, what I was getting ready to say, initially, had Death written all over it. There is power in the word that you speak, type, text and even tweet. Wow!

Thank God for the RAM in the BUSH. Sometimes we can say or even ask the right things or questions, but at the wrong time. That's why it is so important to think before you speak and be spiritually led in what you do and say. Even in whom you follow or allow in your circle.

Praise God for Wisdom!  HALLELUJAH!
My future is now BACK ON TRACK!

Prayer of Praise

When was the last time you loved on God? I mean spending time in prayer not because you need something from Him, but because He means something to you. Letting Him know just how much you love and appreciate Him for who He is and not just for what He has done.

Seek God's face and not His hand. Give Him the honor and praise that is due Him! It’s what I call a “Just Because” praise. Oh how we worship you, LORD God, for who you are! You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end! The giver of life! Our Lord and Savior! JESUS! Glory to your name, LORD God!

Hallelujah is the highest praise! HALLELUJAH! Thank you JESUS!

We yield our will to your WILL. We will serve you, God, for the rest of our life. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. We want to be living testaments of your Glory, LORD God, through our testimony.

Holy Spirit have your way! We Love you with all our heart! In Jesus Name AMEN!

Wait (Book Appendix Excerpt)

We live in a “Try It Before You Buy It” generation.  We try on clothes before we buy it to make sure it fit.  Then there are those who have sex or even live together before marriage to make sure it will work out.

We think of God as a quick fix.  God is not centered on time, but time is centered on him. For 2 Peter 3:8 let’s us know that for one day is with the LORD as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

Some of us lack faith, trust and patience in God.  For we fear the unknown.  That’s why so many of us are at the wrong job and holding positions and titles, both in the church and the world, that were never ordained by God. There are those who are even married to the wrong man or woman.  This is why there is so much confusion in the home, on the job and even in the church.

But there is GOOD NEWS!!!!
There is no failure in God!!!

Ephesians 3:20 - “Now unto him who is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.”

So if you’re single, live wholly.  If you prayed to God for a mate, wait patiently on God for your husband or wife, because God never ordained shacking up or common law marriages.

Child of God, no matter what it looks like or appears to be, God is bigger than any problem you are facing.   No matter how long it takes wait I said On The LORD!!!!

The Promise (Book Appendix Excerpt)

Galatians 4:22-23
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.  But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Abraham, like many of us, received a word from God, regarding a promise that was manifested in the Spirit realm.  Instead of waiting on the promise and trusting God for the promise, Abraham and Sarah did it their way.  That’s like many of us right now.

We want God to do things quick, fast, and in a hurry.  With a mentality of I want what I want when I want it.  If He does not come when we want Him to; I’m talking about God, then we will do it ourselves and mess things up.  Not only mess things up but also have the audacity or nerve to expect God fix what we messed up.

KEEP YOUR HANDS OUT OF THE WAY!!!!
GOD DOES NOT NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

Child of God, I don’t care if God promised you something on yesterday or 10 years ago wait on the promise. Don’t look to the left or look to the right.  Keep your eyes not on the promise but on the one who will fulfill the promise and that’s God Almighty!  For God’s Word will not come back void.  If God said it, then it will come to pass.  AMEN

Walking By Faith (Book Excerpt) PERSONAL TESTIMONY

In the early part of 2007, during my time of seeking God for my next step, He gave me the word “Savannah”.  It was not until several months later that it settled in my spirit Savannah, Georgia.  It amazes me how God has given me only one word in both cases.  As time progressed, things begin to line up for me in order for this transition to go smoothly.  Initially, I was supposed to leave immediately following my son’s last day of school, but through my disobedience, I waited and eventually my money ran out.  I allowed people and lack of faith to hinder me from going forward.

When I realized I was out of order, I repented and asked God to give me another chance.  He did, but it wasn’t easy.  When we finally left to go to Savannah, I didn’t tell my mother because of what transpired or happened from my previous move to Texas.  I knew that what I was doing was crazy to the average person.  I really didn’t expect anyone to understand.

Many people thought I was losing my mind.  At one point, I thought I was crazy.  The enemy tried to convince me, by using those who I love, that I was putting my son in danger.  There were times I cried, because I wanted to do the Will of God, but I was so afraid of hurting my child.  I got to a point of questioning whether or not I was a good mother, because I wanted to do what God had called me to do as an Evangelist.  Once again, I was listening to too many voices.

I finally pulled myself together and began cleaning out my apartment.  The day I was scheduled to leave to go to Savannah, my son and I packed everything we could in my Kia Spectra, and left everything else in storage.  A sense of urgency had come over me and I was ready to go.

Once we were finished packing everything both in the car and storage, I began to experience pain in my upper and lower back as well as the neck area.  These injuries were sustained during a car accident in 2006, one week after I returned home from Hawaii.  The devil was MAD!  In addition to the pain, I was exhausted.  I need to rest.  Since I had moved everything out of my apartment, my son and I stayed by a friend’s house until I was able to get on the highway.  The pain was so intense that I had to take pain pills and apply ice packs to the swollen areas on my body.  Although I was in bad shape the night before, when I woke up the next morning, the pain was gone and was able to start my journey.

While in route to Savannah, I didn’t have a clue what was ahead of me.  I was going to a strange land on a wing and a prayer.  As we approached the Mississippi state line, my back and neck began to hurt again.  I was at a point where my body was in severe pain and on the verge of shutting down.  I had to find a hotel to spend the night.  When we finally found a hotel, I tried to settle down but was unable to.  I had to make sure that my son was not aware of how much pain I was in.  When he finally went to sleep, I tried to watch television hoping to fall asleep.  As the pain increased, I began to look around the hotel room.  I began to question whether or not I made a big mistake.  I was so overwhelmed with everything that I began to feel sharp pains in my chest.  I couldn’t get a grip on what was happening to me.  I felt as if I was having a panic attack. All I could think about, at this time, was making sure that nothing happened to me while we were in this room.  My biggest fear was for my son to wake up and find his mother lifeless on the floor or in the bed next to him.

When I realized I was under an attack, I began looking in the drawers for a Bible.  To my surprise, there was no Bible available in the room.  I began to quote familiar scriptures.  While I was quoting scriptures, the enemy was rehearsing, in the back of my mind, all the negative words that were spoken to and about me in regards to this move.  Tears began to run down my face.  As I looked at my son, the devil tried to tell me over and over again that I was putting him in danger.  By this time, I thought I was going to die.  I cried to God and pleaded for His help.

God allowed the lyrics to a particular song to minister to me in such a way, that I was able to bounce back.  As I began to sing and meditate on the lyrics to this song, the pain was slowly disappearing.  I could actually feel myself getting stronger.  I began to walk back and forth in the hotel room singing the remaining of the lyrics to the song with authority while believing by faith that I was healed.  Before lone, I was singing and speaking in tongues.  I knew at this time that I had the victory. After I praised God for my healing and deliverance, I was able to take control of the situation and eventually fall asleep.

When I woke up the next morning, the desk clerk or manager mentioned how much better I looked from the night before.  I was very surprised, but realized I had to be in pretty bad shape for someone else to make a comment on my appearance.  Once I checked out of the hotel, we said a prayer; put the same CD on in the car; and headed on our way.

Once we arrived in Savannah, GA, a sigh of relief came over me.  I was so elated or excited, because I could not believe that we finally made it.  When we finally got to our designated area, I turned off the car and began to thank God with a loud voice while tears were running down my face.  I was so excited that my son began to thank God with me.

After our praise break, we began our search for a hotel.  We ended up at the Microtel hotel in Pooler, Georgia.  Let’s do a recap.  When we took a leap of faith to Texas, we stayed at the Microtel Hotel in Irving, Texas and now on our second faith journey to Georgia; we stayed at the Microtel Hotel in Pooler, Georgia. Wow!

Within the course of two (2) months, my son and I stayed in several different hotels including an extended stay hotel.  During this time, we joined the Temple of Glory Community Church, located at 1105 Stiles Avenue in Savannah, Georgia (912-233-8213) under the directions of my Pastor in Texas who just by chance knew of a Pastor in Savannah, Georgia.  Look at God!  Almost immediately the ministry stepped in and started taking care of us financially.

Although we were classified as being “homeless”, God provided for us.  We had a “Guardian Angel” who privately paid for a week of our hotel bill.  I was actually told by the desk clerk that a Guardian Angel took care of the bill.  Additionally, I was allowed to work for the church until I was able to find other employment.  Bishop and Overseer, from Temple of Glory, were concerned about our living arrangements and wanted us to leave the hotel.  Under their directions and the willingness of a wonderful person, we moved in with a stranger who later became a very dear friend (Thank you!).

My past and present experiences in Savannah, Georgia have been overwhelming in both a positive and negative way.   When you have been chosen by God, it is important to rely solely on Him for everything.  I have learned, through both experiences, that God will allow you to go through a dry season or a Damascus road experience in order for you to put all your trust in Him.  In spite of it all, I believe that I did what God had instructed me to do.  I believe that I was in the Will of God when I stepped out on faith and relocated to Savannah, GA.

As it relates to me being a single parent, God was aware of this before He called me to be an Evangelist in 1999.  He knew that I would have to bring my son with me.  For God knows the end before the beginning.  God knows what we need even before we ask Him.  If I can trust God with my life, I definitely can trust Him with my son’s life.   Besides, I am just a steward of what belongs to Him.  Joshua belongs to God.  As a single parent, I have learned that when you take care of God’s business, He will take care of your business.  Are you willing to forsake all to follow God?  I am.  What about you?
